Health Commitment Statement
All facility Users are asked to read, make themselves aware, and accept the Health Commitment Statement prior to using any of the facilities at University Park
Our commitment to you
At our facility, your wellbeing is our priority. Here’s what you can expect from us:
- Your Choice, Your Pace
We respect your right to make personal decisions about your fitness journey. Please only engage in activities that feel right for your body and within your own limits. - Clean and Safe Environment
We take reasonable steps to ensure our equipment and facilities are clean, safe, and ready for their intended use. While we maintain high standards, please note that we cannot clean or inspect equipment after every individual use. - Qualified Staff
Our team members are trained to meet the professional standards set by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA), so you can feel confident in the support you receive. If you’re unsure about how to use equipment safely, how to exercise within your limits, or need guidance during your visit, please speak to a member of our staff — we’re here to help. - Accessibility and Inclusion
If you have a disability that makes it difficult to access our equipment or facilities, let us know. We’ll consider what reasonable adjustments we can make to support your needs.
Your commitment to us
To help us keep everyone safe and supported, we ask that you:
- Know Your Limits
Only exercise within your personal abilities. If you have—or think you might have—a medical condition that could affect your safety while exercising, please consult a qualified medical professional before using our equipment or facilities, and follow their advice. - Follow the Rules
Please read and follow all posted rules, instructions, and warning notices. Exercise involves some risk, and you are responsible for managing your own safety. Avoid any activities that you’ve been advised are not suitable for you. - Report Issues Promptly
If you notice any equipment or facilities that seem unsafe, or if you feel unwell while exercising, let us know immediately. While our staff are not medical professionals, someone trained in first aid will be available to assist. - Exercise Safely
Please follow any reasonable instructions provided by Saints Sport staff to help ensure your safety while using our facilities.
